The Growth Model: What To Expect Each Month At YWBD
At YWBD, we structure our services through The Growth Model — where every month we move from seed to harvest.

Each Sunday serves as a Kingdom Briefing that readies you to be deployed into your world with strength, clarity, and confidence. Just as elite forces never move without a Mission Briefing and readiness, our services are crafted not just to encourage you but to equip you with the revelation and the spiritual intel needed to advance the mission we carry together with accuracy and boldness.

Every gathering is designed to equip and deploy leaders who embody Christ in the earth with The Gospel of The Glory of Christ into each week.
Seed Service ( 1st Sunday )
Plant The Seed.
A more traditional Sunday service where we release the new revelation for the month. This word becomes the seed we will unpack, water and steward together in the weeks ahead—supported by sermon notes and clear visuals that strengthen retention and understanding.
Selah Sunday ( 2nd Sunday )
Water The Seed.
A more interactive, conversational service — a sit-down, video-podcast experience. We answer questions, review what God said and share testimonies from the church.
This works because of the spacing effect — your mind remembers truth better when you revisit it in a calmer, slower setting.
Feast Sunday ( 3rd Sunday )
Celebrate The Fruit.
We put on display the fruit God has produced in our lives. Members send in poems, songs, testimonies, videos, revelation, creative expressions — a full celebration of how the Word took root in you.

This taps into dual-code learning — when you see the Word in visual and creative forms, it sticks in a deeper way.
Sabbath Sunday ( 4th Sunday )
Rest. Reflect. Review.
No live service -- This is a Sunday of rest where we encourage intentional alone time with God — praying, journaling, walking, meditating, reviewing notes or rewatching the message.

This is where brain rest matters — slowing down to rest, reflect and review helps your mind actually absorb what God’s been showing you so it becomes part of your daily life.
S.W.O.T. Sunday ( If Applicable )
Growth Assessment.

S.W.O.T. Sunday is a LIVE, corporate growth practice — a moment where we reflect together as a community and listen collectively for how God is forming us.

SWOT — Strengths. Weaknesses. Opportunities. Threats.
Originally refined through Stanford research and later used by the U.S. Navy, SWOT remains one of the most trusted frameworks for assessing readiness and guiding growth.

We’ve reframed it through a Kingdom lens to strengthen spiritual formation and help you see your growth clearly.

Whenever a month has five Sundays, the fifth becomes S.W.O.T. Sunday — a focused Growth Assessment built around four simple questions: Where has the Word taken root? What hasn’t taken root? Where is God focusing me now? And what’s keeping me from abiding?

This rhythm strengthens your formation and is backed by learning science: intentional reflection improves retention, reveals real progress, and activates metacognition — your brain’s ability to recognize patterns, track growth, and align your life with what you’ve actually learned.

Through S.W.O.T. Sunday, you can clearly see how God has formed Christ in you over the last quarter (Galatians 4:19).
